Hi everyone,
I am using a VM on Virtualbox 7.0 with Windows 10 on a Ubuntu 18.04 host. The problem I am facing is that a certain peripheral sometimes manages to connect but sometimes it fails with no understandable pattern. The serial device I am using is kind of a custom camera/sensor configuration, that works well with actual windows installations. 6 individual cameras are triggered to boot each time one is called upon from the software, so a seperate call for each. Sometimes camera 1 does not respond, sometimes camera 6, sometimes camera 4 etc. The error I get is:
Failed to create a proxy device for the USB device. (Error: VERR_READ_ERROR).
Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0X80004005)
Component:
ConsoleWrap
Interface:
I have tried certain fixes, added the user to vboxusers group, I have the extension and have the correct filters with the vendor ID only to be able to identify each device, but none of them works. Any suggestions maybe I am missing something silly as I am really new
