I posted about this a couple of weeks ago but now cannot find my posts. so I'll do it again.
I was running VB 7.x, had been for at least a few days, and everything was working.
Then one day NONE of my VMs would boot. after a while got a dialog box with a progress bar saying "20 %" where it stopped and hung. on ALL of my VMs.
Saw some posts here that seemed to indicate that it had something to do with VB 7.x, so I uninstalled it and installed the 6.10 version I had been using previously.
Still wouldn't boot, so I was able to recover one of the VMs from backup, had to reinstall another.
After that they worked, so I decided to stay at 6.10.
Even used one of them this morning, but now, once again, NONE of them will boot.
What gives? How do I troubleshoot this?
This is on Centos-7 host (yeah, I know it's near EOL, there are plans to rectify that)
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
Fred
VM boot stops at 20%, hangs there forever.
