The logs are complicated for new users, and picking what's relevant is difficult. You missed lots of important parts.

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. In the "Logs" subfolder, zip the VM's "vbox.log", and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab. (Configure your host OS to show all extensions so you can find the "vbox.log", not "vbox.log.1", etc.)

Please try uninstalling the 7.0.4 Guest Additions from inside the VM. If the VM then stays stable, you can try 6.1.40's Guest Additions. 7.0's GAs have new video capability that needs some bugs worked out yet.

I installed the guest additions in windows and no change. The logs I posted are from after the installation of guest additions.
anything else I can try. the ability to access usb from inside the VM is important to me.

cheers,
John.

I'm quite well aware that you had installed the Guest Additions, I do know how to read the logs to a great extent, and that's why I asked you to uninstall the Guest Additions. I know that 7.0's Guest Additions are causing trouble, but you didn't, until just now.

What happened to VM's performance when you did as instructed?

I was uninstalling the guest additions and the screen went crazy and I lost mouse and keyboard.
It didn't crash per-say as there was still disk and network activity. AC-PI shutdown didn't work.
Log attached.

Cheers John.

I believe its fixed. after uninstalling the vbox extensions from within windows the system came good.
Found a thread somewhere about enabling 3D acceleration. I turned it on and reinstalled the extensions.
It seems to have fixed the problem.

Cheers,
John

Did you try running MS Office after enabling 3D acceleration? My offcie app would show a solid black window with 3D in Win 11.
I'm using Intel's integrated graphics.

Long known problem and solution: disable transparency effects in the Windows guest.
