Hello,
It's my first time running a virtual box.
I use as a host Ubuntu 22.04 server on which I run virtual box 6.1.38 with the extension pack.
I tried to run Ubuntu desktop (22.04 and 20.04) on the guest vm.
I ran the guest VM in headless mode and tried to connect to it with Microsoft Remote Desktop (running on mac).
The installation process passed smoothly but once installed, the guest VM boots very slowly and also reacts badly to any click or keyboard. Attaching the VBox.log file
The host is a strong machine (16 cpus and 32 GB RAM), so I tried both a strong guest configuration with 8 CPUs and 16G and a smaller guest configuration 2 CPUs and 8G, both behaved the same.
Your assistance will be appreciated.

Third party build, not supported here.00:00:00.030706 VirtualBox VM 6.1.38_Ubuntu r153438 linux.amd64 (Sep 7 2022 11:18:57) release log
Guest Additions from the Triassic. Badly needs updating. This will stop 3D acceleration from working.00:00:21.105864 VMMDev: Guest Additions information report: Version 6.0.0 r127566 '6.0.0'
And the log is truncated so not much more can be said. You need to close down the VM before copying out log files it was still writing to.
