802.1Q Trunking to Linux Guests

Post by epretorious »

Hello!

Is it possible to pass 802.1q tagged traffic between Linux guests using VirtualBox 6.1?

TIA,

I can confirm that both untagged and 802.1q tagged traffic may be passed interchangeably between guests using...
  1. the Internal network mode,
  2. the Host-only network mode, and
  3. the Bridged network mode.

VirtualBox 6.1 on Linux Mint 22 [Vanessa] (i.e., Ubuntu 22.04 [Jammy Jellyfish]), of course!
