Hi,
I try running a homemade program which usually run in Linux (5.13) in virtual box.
When i'm lauching the VM, the start is OK (system.d is lauching) but after that, the VM is crashing.
I do not understand clearly the logs of VM.
Could someone give me a direction in order to make it work ?
Thanks,
Yoann

Re: Virtualbox on Linux Kernel 5.13
Why did you disable nested paging?
Please try if enabling System > Acceleration > Nested Paging helps, and provide a new (zipped) VBox.log file.

Re: Virtualbox on Linux Kernel 5.13
I just noticed that you named the VM "Recorder". There is a known VirtualBox 6.1.36 regression regarding the recording settings. FWIW, that issue has been fixed in the VirtualBox test builds 6.1.37r152565 and newer.
Please provide a zip file containing the current Recorder.vbox file, then try the test build if you can.

Re: Virtualbox on Linux Kernel 5.13
I do not use the recording setting, i called it recorder because it's the main function of the program.
Here is the Recorder.vbox in zip.
I think the crash might be cause by X server bugging and not lauching correctly in Linux.

I can confirm that you don't have the problematic recording settings (which some old VMs have without their users ever having used screen recording).Shou wrote:I do not use the recording setting
In your VBox.log files, I see the Guru Meditation over a Triple Fault, but I cannot determine the real cause. Perhaps someone else has an idea what to try next?
