Thanks for reporting back! I meant the separate GA ISO from the VirtualBox test builds web page, though.

Re: Windows 10 Guest on Linux host dies seconds after boot
Good news for fedora 36 people: with update to kernel "Linux fedora36 5.18.5-200.fc36.x86_64" and virtualbox Version "6.1.35 r151864 (Qt5.6.1)" all working again.

I'm on kernel 5.18.5 too, but on 6.1.97 which is more "cutting edge" in terms of features, but it's older in terms of build (March 2022 I think) and it doesn't work, so I'm still waiting for them to publish a new development snapshot build for 6.1.97.
To put this into context, the last revision 6.1.35 is based on is 151866 while 6.1.97 is 150532, but I can't use 6.1.35 'cause I'm using Windows 11 with the emulated TPM 2.0 chip which the 6.1.35 doesn't have...
Re: Windows 10 Guest on Linux host dies seconds after boot
I'm having problems for getting it working after the Fedora 36 kernel update to 5.18.5-200. It was working smoothly with kernel 5.17.13-300.bmaring wrote:Good news for fedora 36 people: with update to kernel "Linux fedora36 5.18.5-200.fc36.x86_64" and virtualbox Version "6.1.35 r151864 (Qt5.6.1)" all working again.
I'm getting the usual:
"WARNING: The vboxdrv kernel module is not loaded. Either there is no module available for the current kernel (5.18.5-200.fc36.x86_64) or it failed to load. Please recompile the kernel module and install it by sudo /sbin/vboxconfig"
I have the dev tools installed. I tried "sudo /sbin/vboxconfig", which usually recompiles VBox and solves it, without luck.
Any idea? Thanks!
