Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

It could be an incompatibility with the host graphics driver. I see this unfamiliar message in the log:-
00:00:16.780591 VMMDev: Guest Log: VBoxMP::DxgkDdiStartDevice: WDDM: VRAM 0xe0000000/0x10000000, FIFO 0xf0000000/0x200000, IO 0xd000/0x10
00:00:16.780922 Enabling different vbva mode
00:00:16.781188 Enabling different vbva mode
Though the VM continues for a bit beyond that. I also note that the entire log covers less than two minutes and the VM shows no sign of locking up. Two minutes doesn't seem like you gave it enough time.

Finally, Ubuntu 22.04 is a bit new I believe, VirtualBox has no official support for it yet.
