Have been running Virtualbox 5.2.44 on Fedora 30 for a long time on a Dell Optiplex 790 with 20GB of RAM. Machine doesn't do anything else than Virtualbox. I know both Virtualbox and Fedora are dated but I had an issue with serial port communication on a later version of Virtualbox which held me at 5.x. Not sure this is fixed with later versions as I didn't have the time to test. But this post is about another issue I have...
This morning all 3 VMs were in status "Aborted" and when looking at the logs I found the last entry as
"Giving up catch-up attempt"
Never had this before. Have attached the logs in case there's some info to why this happened. The only thing I could think of is I'm running into some limits but wouldn't have a clue where to start debugging this.
Any ideas?
