Hey..
I am a Linux Distro dev, recently when I try to boot my ISO in EFI mode on vBox latest stable release for ArchLinux all I get is ERI Shell and Firmware boot options whereas on VMWare and KVM all works just fine... Any ideas ?

Re: virtualbox efi systemd boot options
This perhaps implies that there is something wrong with the newer ISO, and the appearance of the shell is just the EFI equivalent of "no bootable device found".callmejoe wrote: older iso's work fine
VirtualBox is quite fussy about the ISO conforming correctly to standards. One thing it traditionally gets upset about is if the ISO is not a multiple of 512 bytes, as that means it isn't a disk image (in fact it's being a bit lax there - ISO 9660 images should be a multiple of 2048 bytes).
Re: virtualbox efi systemd boot options
This has been fixed since last systemd-250.2 ... Build an updated Arch ISO and it will be fixed...
