In the Linux USB IDs repository, there is a description of another USB device with the VID 0a12 PID 4010 combination, that would probably also lead to not being usable with VirtualBox:
The USB ID Repository wrote:
Name: Mpow HC5 Headset in charging mode - USB Hub

Headset, when charged via USB, provides a hub with VID 0a12, PID 4010. Connected to that hub are
four USB devices with VID 0a12, PID 4007. Three devices are unusable/non functioning HID devices.
One is a mass storage device with 15M read-only memory.

Or in short, the device presents complete rubbish to the USB bus.

Assuming that all functionality is implemented using custom Windows drivers (which I have access to), how should I make use of that hardware?
I can, of course, install Windows alongside with Linux, but will it be the best I can do? I don't like that I'll have to reboot each time I need to reprogram this device.
