In Fedora 33 and 34 it is not possibel to add extension in the GUI manager (file=>preference=>extension)
When you select the + sign to add extension the file window comes up but it is frozen.
Adding the extension when you download it with your browser or adding it with a filemanger like NEMO works.

Re: extension file window does not work on fedora 33/34
IME this is usually a host OS problem. The file browser being used by Qt is the host OS (or host desktop) file browser, and if it seems to lock up then it's usually because of something like a dead network connection.Knudch wrote: When you select the + sign to add extension the file window comes up but it is frozen.

Desktop is KDE
Dolphin and Nemo works fine no issues with either network or filesystem.
I have no idea which which is the OS filebrowser.
No other application has problem with there filemanager window....eg Kwrite
But you maybe right....trying to attach ISO file in the virtual disk drive...same result

Maybe it is not a frozen OS filemanager window...
No Host logs say anything
The filemanager window is not entirely frozen, typing in the filename line is possible and then select the extension file by either keyb arrows or mouse click is possible.
Pressing enter then installs then extension
It seems that all select of other buttoms/fields by mouse click is inactive

Vbox 6.1.22 from rpmfusion-free-updates repo does not have this problem where both 6.1.22 and 24 from VirtualBox repo has the problem
