Guest OS Display Resolution Resets after Reboot

I am running the latest version of Virtual Box and Guest Additions (So I think) and having issues with my Guest OS display resolution not saving after reboot.

I use Virtual Box in Scaled Mode and I can change the display resolution on my Kali Linux, but when I restart it, it always reset to 800 x 600

I know this is a Virtual Box issue, just not sure why it does not persist after I restart it.

Any suggestions?
