Is there memory management that could be leveraged for IOMMU

Post by bravo_t »

For the nested VM ability in VBox6.1 does VBox already have support of some kind for system memory management that could be leveraged for IOMMU memory management support?

The only thing I could suggest is reading the manual and see if anything therein fits with what you are after. FWIW the pdf version of the manual is searchable.

IOMMU was used in earlier versions for PCI passthrough with VT-d.
This never really worked and was removed with VirtualBox 6.1.x

So the answer to your question is "no". ;)
