Windows 11 on VirtualBox 7.0.4_SUSE r154605

W11 won't boot after the update unless I disable 3D acceleration (I read elsewhere that enabling 3d acceleration would apparently fix the issue, but in my case it was already enabled.)
One drawback of this is that I'm unable to run Google Earth Pro.

As an aside, since the update to 7, I'm unable to install VBox Guest Additions on any VM from W2000, Vista, 10 or 11.

I believe both of those issues are known. 7.0 is still in major bug fix status yet. If you can't get running VMs with it, try going back to 6.1.40.

I think I've solved this.
It appears to be related to using the Guest Additions ver 6.x and as mentioned previously, I couldn't "Insert Guest Additions CD Image" for any OS, running Vbox 7.0.4
I found a website at the weekend that allowed me to download VBoxGuestAdditions_7.0.4.iso
Now, I've read on other posts on this forum, that this isn't advisable, but what I can report on, is that when I mounted the ISO and installed VBoxGuestAdditions 7.0.4 and went to reboot, it hung on the "please wait" screen (Windows 11)
I powered it off, re-enabled 3D Acceleration, powered it back on, and it worked.
