VM stops after installing VBoxGuestAdditions_6.1.38

Dear all,

I have recently updated my VM VirtualBox to 6.1.38_Ubuntu r153438 with the correspondent Extension pack from the repo download.virtualbox.xxx/virtualbox/debian focal InRelease (full site missing to overcome the 1day 1post rule) on an Ubuntu 20.04.4 guest machine.
I have a VM running raw from an SSD with win 10 on it. To add a second screen capability, I installed the guest addition CD from the opened and working VM following Devices > Install Guest Additions CD image. Everything went smooth, and I installed the VBoxGuestAdditions_6.1.38.iso.
I turned the VM off, but now it is not booting. In the log file (full log attached) I could locate the error :

Looks like you have the USB crash. Disable USB in the VM settings. Or, the latest 6.1.39 test build apparantly has a fix.

Please zip log attachments in future, otherwise you likely fall foul of attachment size limits.

and p.s. Technically that isn't VirtualBox, it's a third party build from the open sources, and so we have no idea what is different about it. We only support official builds here.

Yes, the problem is indeed related to USB! It boots ! I forgot a USB drive (not pugged) in the list of available USB resources for the VM.
I apologize for the post, I thought that the repo was pointing to the official .deb. Where should I look in the future for further requests?

If that means where do you go for support, you go to the Ubuntu forums if you're using their build. Or, download official builds from here (see "Get VirtualBox" link at the bottom of every forum page) and get support here.
