Can't start imported appliance

Post by dcorwin822 »

I exported a appliance from my Virtualbox setup on my desktop, it's running the latest version. After upgrading my Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS server to the 4.0.6 release I tried importing the image. It said it imported correctly. When trying to run the appliance i get the following output:

Code: Select all

Oracle VM VirtualBox Headless Interface 4.0.6
(C) 2008-2011 Oracle Corporation
All rights reserved.

Error: failed to start machine. Error message: Configuration error: Failed to get the "Trunk" value (VERR_CFGM_NOT_ENOUGH_SPACE).
Failed to attach the network LUN (VERR_CFGM_NOT_ENOUGH_SPACE).
Unknown error creating VM (VERR_CFGM_NOT_ENOUGH_SPACE)
It is an XP guest and in the vbox config file I imported DMI info so it activates xp.

Any help understanding what is going on would be appreciated.

I got it working. Installed phpVirtualBox on the server, updated the VM's config, and now it's working. I bet it was something with it's config file. Thanks for looking everyone!
