Hi,
After installing virtual box on my Windows 7 64bit (professional edition), the FortiClient VPN (version - 6.0.4.0182) has stopped working . As far as I see, the virtual box network settings /virtual network adapter messes with the VPN's network adapter. The VPN client connects to the server, but the IP address never gets assigned to the Fortinet VPN adapter. Hence no data is transferred after connection.
Note: The problem is not that I cannot connect my host OS to guest OS or vice-versa. The problem is I cannot connect to the customer's VPN network (outside network) from my host Windows OS after I have installed virtual box.
Virtual Box - Version 6.1.12 r139181 (Qt5.6.2)
Host OS specs - Windows 7, 64 bit professional. i5, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD
Guest OS - Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
There is already a ticket raised 11 years ago - ticket - 4652 but there isn't any solution and marked closed as "Obsolete".
Any help is appreciated. Thanks !
A.

Not a "third party apps" question. Topic moved to "Windows Hosts".
