Hello,
The CD / DVD drive (physical) is connected with “VirtualBox” (Windows 7 Ultimate). It is possible to copy the files (to the disk "C: \") if it is a data CD / DVD.
By cons if we place a music CD nothing to do. Unable to play music.
The following errors are obtained with Windows Media Player and VLC Media Player.
Do any of you know how to be able to play music from the (physical) CD / DVD player?
Thank you
Can't play music from CDROM Drive-VirtrualBox

Music CDs are not CD-ROMs. VirtualBox doesn't support music CDs, it supports ISO formatted data CDs exclusively. Music CDs may work if you enable passthrough mode for the host CD drive in the VM settings.

Basic CD format error, so your system cannot play music successfully.

There is nothing to resolve. Music CDs look similar to data CDs, that does not make them data CDs. Some CD drives for PCs support music CDs if you have the correct software (but don't bother looking at the directory, it doesn't have one). The VirtualBox CD drive does not support music CDs, however enabling passthrough mode in the VM settings for the CD drive MAY (no promises) allow it, assuming the drive itself does.
