Virtualbox 1.40 Gives me Error while installing Slackware 12

Post by nycjv321 »

It says that the Host OS (Windows XP LOL) is out of space? I have the virtual hard disk stored on my external WD HD which is about 111gigs big I have only used like 20gigs? So why is Virtualbox telling me this?
At first i tried creating a fixed image of 10gigs? then when starting install (first package exactly) Virtualbox says guest OS (slackware) says disk out of space and to fix it i need to delete space on host OS but i dont need to(like 90gigs free already). I also tried a dynamicaly expanding disk image, it messes up every so often throughout the install :( does anyone else experience this or is this a known bug?

edit: just remembered fat32 partitions cant have files above 4gigs
