VirtualBox 6.1.4 Clipboard sharing doesn't work

Hi,

The clipboard sharing doesn't work for me.
Host: Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1909, VirtualBox 6.1.4, Extension Pack is installed.
Guest: Debian 10.3, Guest Extension Pack installed

Bidirectional sharing is active.

How to debug this?

Same issue here.

- Windows 10 1909 Host
- Ubuntu 18.04 Guest (vanilla desktop install)
- VirtualBox 6.1.4 with 6.1.4 guest additions
- Bidirectional enabled - doesn't work in either direction

I can confirm with VBox 6.1.2 and 6.1.2 guest additions it was working fine.

I knew it!! I wasn't the only one who's facing this issue. And its been over a month since it all started. It all began with the Vbox Extension pack update. Shared Clipboard feature was working fine in 6.1.1 & 6.1.2 before it was updated to 6.1.4. I even tried uninstalling and re-installing the extension pack but no success. Then checked the vbox.log in the hopes of finding a clue to this behavior but no luck. As per the vbox.log everything is working fine.
Host : Windows 10 X64 with latest VirtualBox and extension pack
Guest 1 : Kali x64 with guest additions enabled and updated to 6.1.4
Guest 2 : Windows Server 2012 R2 with with guest additions kept at 6.1.2

Shared Clipboard is working fine between Host and Guest 2 i.e Windows Server but not between Host and Guest 1 i.e Kali

Requesting the concerned team to fix it in their next release.

I had the same problem. It's a know bug, fixed in 6.1.6 (out now). I can confirm first-hand that the new version fixes the problem. Don't forget to update the guest additions in the VM.
