Probably newbie question here, but I didn't see anything obviously addressing it.
I'm running Ubuntu in a VirtualBox VM under Windows 10. All works fine when I'm connected directly to my work network; I can get anywhere from within the VM.
From home, I need to attach to work network via VPN. But when I start up my VM, it can't see anything on the network. Is there something special I need to do in the network config to make this work?
Chris.
How can I get VM to use Windows host's VPN connection?

You probably can't get that to work. A VPN is a dedicated point-to-point connection. By design it can't be shared or routed.
If you can share it, it is probably poorly designed.
The correct procedure would be to configure the vm to make its own VPN connection.
