In our company, we should block to use USB storage due to security issue. (detected and blocked by Symantec Endpoint Protection)
But, in our software development team, need to use VirtualBox.
If they use VirtualBox, they can forward USB storage to Virtual machine.
In this case, in Virtual machine, Symantec Endpoint Protection, can't detect or block it.
Is there any way to block only USB storage forwarding in VirtualBox?

Re: How to block USB Storage
I don't believe there is a way to block all USB from a guest with a Virtualbox command. Not having the Extension Pack installed removes USB2 & 3, but leaves USB1 available.
If the host PC does not know how to use the physical USB port, then the guest will never be able to use devices on the ports. Uninstall host USB drivers? I think you'll be looking at some other host PC limiting setup rather than trying to block via Virtualbox.

Re: How to block USB Storage
There is an option in the VirtualBox installer to not include USB support. There is also an option in the settings of a vm to not enable a USB controller.
