Virtualisation

Post by Adrien R »

Hello , i have little problem .
I can't open my Vm .

I have an error message which says to me:

AMD-V is disabled in the BIOS (or by the host OS) (VERR_SVM_DISABLED).

code d'erreur : E_FAIL (0x80004005)
composant : ConsoleWrap
Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

Virtualization is well activated in the BIOS

But the options concerning Hyper-V are not available in the Windows functionality menu

Can you help me ? :) ty

What it says: enable AMD-v in your host PC's BIOS.

Hardware accelerated virtualization is no longer optional in 6.1.0.

If it turns out that Virtualization is on in your BIOS, then you might have other software on your PC using VT-x exclusively, to the detriment of Virtualbox. See I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests, which covers the BIOS, other software, Hyper-V and its derivatives, etc.
