Guru Mediation after Update to 6.1

Post by Danielhartmann »

Hi

I have some problems after updating from v 6.08 to 6.1.
Running Windows 10 build 18363.

Since update to new Version of Virtualbox and Updating the Host also to the new Build 18363 I got after 5-35 Minutes Guru Mediation.

Nothing really changed and haven't the Guru Mediation Mode before the Update.

Attached the logfile

You have all your physical host cores in the guest:
00:00:01.607619 NumCPUs <integer> = 0x0000000000000008 (8)
00:00:02.074742 CPUM: Physical host cores: 8
Leave the host something to use. Better, try 2 cores in the guest until stable operation is achieved, then experiment.

Your issue might be similar to viewtopic.php?f=2&t=96077, whose log had the same guru source error and CPU weirdness before the guru meditated.

Your CPU is a Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K, which is fourth quarter 2018 age. The linked user's CPU is 2nd Q 2019, which have some new stuff that 6.1.0 needs to account for. The linked poster downgraded to 6.0.14 and restored operation.
