Howto use back and forward buttons of mouse in Windows Guest

Hello,

Host: WinXP+SP3
Virtualbox: 2.0.2
Mouse: MX510

How can I use the back and forward button of my mouse in an XP+SP3 guest? Is this possible?

Only way to do that, is mount your mouse as a USB device. VB emulates only a simple 3-button mouse with scrollwheel (if present). Be aware that when you mount your USB mouse in your VM, you can't use it in the Host anymore, as it's dedicated to the VM now.

thx for your answer. Thats pitty that its just possible with USB mounting. Now I also found with google search a topic in this forum about it. For the ones who are also searching:
