Guest Additions

Postby abbey » 6. Sep 2019, 15:46

I'm currently running Win 10 and I've set up VB to run Ubuntu 19.04 but I'm having trouble with the guest additions. Every time I try to add guest additions I get the following:
Unable to insert Virtual Optical Disk
C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso
into the machine Ubuntu 19.04

How do I overcome this issue ?

Regards,
Bruce

It sounds like there's more to that error message, doesn't sound Virtualbox-ish enough. Try again, and if you get the error in a Virtualbox pop-up there probably will be a Copy button. Copy & paste the exact error message on your nest post.

Google "VERR_PDM_MEDIA_LOCKED guest additions site:forums.virtualbox.org" , there's some solutions you can try.
