[Fixed] Copy Folder

I am not sure if this is a Virtualbox or a Windows 10 issue.

In Windows 10, if I copy a folder from a shared/mapped folder (host) to the local guest (Windows 10), it copies the entire folder, contents (files, folders), without an issue. Now, if I copy that folder that just has been copied to the local guest, back to the shared drive, it only copies a few of the contents (files, folders).

I have been playing with all kind of permissions and security and that still have not resolved it. I even compared the properties windows and they look EXACTLY the same:

the contents (files, folders) that were able to be copied
vs
the contents (files, folders) that were not able to be copied.

When I use the program Extreme Copy, it copies everything SUCCESSFULLY. This brings me to think it may not be a permission issue.

We need to see a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run, where the problem occurs:
  • Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
  • With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
  • Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

I think this issue has been resolved with the installation of the Guest Addition 6.0.11 (rebooted twice).

This was due to the other thread that you shared: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=94529

Thanks
