[Solved] Can no longer start guests

Post by Stickybit »

Hi Everyone

Suddenly I can no longer start any guests. Guests mostly just hangs when booting, or dies with the attached error message.

I´ve tried altering the VM configurations with no luck .. so I kinda lost here.

Any hints on this one?

You need to wait until the VM process has closed before you grab copies of log files.
00:00:02.118099 HM: HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM: VT-x is not available
00:00:02.170055 NEM: WHvCapabilityCodeHypervisorPresent is TRUE, so this might work...
You probably need to disable Hyper-v before VirtualBox will run reliably. See the related FAQ: FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests.. Especially the last two posts.
