Re: Guru Meditation After Guest Reboot After Restoring Snapshot

When you get a Guru Meditation, the log will tell you what the error is. You can search the log for the word 'meditation'. Right after that will be a line full of !!!!!!'s, then the guru meditation error in CAPITALIZED_UNDERSCORE_SPACED_WORDS. Put the error words in your favorite search engine followed by 'site:forums.virtualbox.org' to restrict the search results to this forum, where the most up-to-date solutions will be, like this:

CAPITALIZED_UNDERSCORE_SPACED_WORDS site:forums.virtualbox.org

Your guru meditated on VERR_PGM_HANDLER_NOT_FOUND. Try googling:

VERR_PGM_HANDLER_NOT_FOUND site:forums.virtualbox.org

Fwiw, you are using the new VMSVGA video card with only 16MB video ram. You have 32GB ram in the host & 26GB available, 4GB set for the guest, so there's more room for video, 128MB would be good.

BTW, have you tried starting the guest again? Sometimes Guru Meds are one-offs.

Here's something else:
00:00:00.368935 Console: Machine state changed to 'Restoring'
Seems your guest wasn't fully shut down last time. Try again to start the guest from a cold boot, see what you get.
