Can't get dual monitors to work (not even dual windows)

Hi,

I can't get a dual monitor setup working. I'm running Arch Linux in virtualbox on a Windows 10 host.

I have the guest additions instllaed, the Monitor Count set to 2, Video Memory set to 128MB and I've tried all combinations of Graphics Controllers and Acceleration checkboxes. Nothing works.

I can't even get two windows to display, let alone get dual monitors going in fullscreen mode. If I click on the "view" menu in windowed-mode, I do get "Virtual Screen 1" and "Virtual Screen 2" as options down the bottom, but everything is greyed out and I only see one screen (window).

I've tried downgrading from 6.0.10 all the way to 5.2 (as I know for sure I've had this working properly before!) but nothing seems to help.

Any help appreciated.

We need to see a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run, where the problem occurs:

• Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
• With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
• Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.
