Hello Everybody
I have installed VirtualBox 6.0 and Whonix Gateway + Workstation
My Computer runs on Windows 8.1 64Bit 3,60GB RAM.
Whenever I start VM my Windows crashes after a moment and I get a blue screen and the error System_Service_Exception
I tried to deactivate Hyper V but for some reason it is not listed in Windows Features.
I know similar problems have been reported but so far I was unable to adress this problem on my own. I'd be happy if someone could provide me with assistance.
Thanks In advance!

Re: VM crashes Windows
A google search:
System_Service_Exception site:forums.virtualbox.org
found this link:
viewtopic.php?f=38&t=77134
which suggests that Hyper-V is really not turned off yet. See I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests Carefully go through each command in the 2nd & 3rd posts.

Re: VM crashes Windows
Deja vu? That exact reply was posted in another topic, which also sports a Debian VM with inadequate resources (i.e 16MB VRAM).

Re: VM crashes Windows
Just ran across this one viewtopic.php?f=6&t=93933&p=453689#p453689 Also Linux guest, Ubuntu, 16MB video ram, if I read the log right, and "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION" BSOD on the host. MAybe there is a common thread? Other poster said it was his antivirus, though...
