How to recover deleted vdi (virtual disk image)

Hi,

I Accidentally deleted the wrong vdi (virtual disk image) from within Virtual media Manager !!!
It doesnt appear in the windows recylce bin, is there any way to get this back?
please, please, please, in dire straits right now.....

Unfortunately not from within your Windows host, only from a proper backup.

And please do yourself a favor and don't go downloading any "Undelete" programs, they won't help you. A multi-GB file, like a VDI, is almost 99.9999% not recoverable. Only small files could be potentially recovered from such programs, and not always successfully.
