Closing VM causes USB devices to lockup on Host.

Post by KLANM »

Hi all.

I am having issues with a Linux VM on a Win 10 Pro laptop host machine. I have a dock and a wireless USB mouse and a wired USB keyboard. When the VM is closed, the keyboard and mouse will be unresponsive for a good 30 seconds afterwards. There are no USB filters set at all, I otherwise cannot find any information about this issue anywhere else. The Laptop's builtin keyboard and touchpad are still responsive when the USB ones are not. I was wondering if there is any known cause for this issue?

Thank you.

What happens if you lose the dock? There are known issues with these "docks".
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
