Please see also Ticket #18580.

Deleting a snapshot doesn't show estimated time and operation progress bar always starts from 99%, even if the deletion process of multi-GB {snapshot}.vdi takes 20-30 minutes.

Host: Dell Inspiron 17-5755 Laptop with AMD A8 Processor and RAM 12GB without external HDD.
Host OS: Windows 10 1809 (64-bit). Image Version: 10.0.17763.437
VirtualBox Version: 6.0.6

All VMs with their shapshots are located in the NTFS-compressed disk partition.
The problem started after upgrade from VB 5.2.20 (or 5.2.22) to VB 6.0.6.
VMs were initially created several years ago with previous VirtualBox versions. Before upgrade to VB 6.0.6, I completely powered off all my VMs and restarted my Host OS.
VirtualBox 6.0.6 Release Notes wrote:This is a maintenance release. The following items were fixed and/or added:
[...] User interface: fixed operation progress when deleting snapshots.
