Virtualbox hangs when VM starts Windows 10
I was installing a program and the program asked to restart the machine but it was running my VM and when the computer was rebooting I canceled and closed the VMs but when I start the VMs it starts the OS but crashes soon then and only I can shut down not forcing in the task manager ... I have already tried to reinstall the virtualBox and nothing so far.

In the host or in the guest?juniorpaiva wrote:I was installing a program and the program asked to restart the machine
That's a looong sentense. Could you break it down in smaller, step-by-step ones?juniorpaiva wrote:but it was running my VM and when the computer was rebooting I canceled and closed the VMs but when I start the VMs it starts the OS but crashes soon then and only I can shut down not forcing in the task manager
Are you trying to restore a saved-state? We need to see a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run, where the problem occurs:
- Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe problem / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
- With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
- Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.
