I'm having issues with using any usb sound capture device.
The audio is fine if I use the host mic input but I need to have multiple vms with a dedicated sound card for each. So I'm on the first vm and sound card.
Host is a Win10 Machine running VirtualBox 6.0.4
i5 4690K Processor
16GB Ram
Extension Pack is installed
Guest is a Windows 7 VM
2 Processors
2GB Ram
I installed the Guest Additions ISO
I currently have the vm running with the ICH9 Chipset
I have 4 other vms running, mostly small ubuntu installations doing various tasks. I've still got 8gb of free memory and the processor never hits 100% on the host or guest vm once its all up and running.
I've tried a few different USB sound cards. C-Media, Soundblaster and a generic one.
When the sound is put in through the host mic input, all is good. I could install several pcie sound cards and do it that way I guess, but I feel like the usb should work.
Thanks
