Fresh Install 6.04 VBoxHardening Failure

Fresh laptop, with basic security tools installed. Never had Virtualbox on it. Fresh install of 6.04.

I created a Linux VM, mounted the install .ISO as the cd, and tried to start it.

I get: (rc=-5640) Please try reinstalling VirtualBox, Process Verification Failures: The process has more than one thread.

For grins and giggles, I reinstalled Virtualbox. No change.

The virtual machine 'AIReaper' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1). More details may be available in 'C:\Users\tj2573\VirtualBoxVMs\AIReaper\Logs\VBoxHardening.log'.

The hardening log is filled mostly with the ObsBaseAgent errors, ending with:
