Hi,
I just upgraded to 6.0.2 r128162 today (with expansion pack and guest addition installed) and found my shared folders in gentoo guest keep disappearing. I think I need some help.
Here is my way of reproduction:
1. start the guest with no snapshots
2. take one online snapshot, say A
3. power off and restore the guest to snapshot A
4. start the guest
5. take another online snapshot, say B, under snapshot A
6. power off and restore the guest to snapshot B
7. start the guest
In this way, all shared folders in my guest would be gone. I tried to manually mount them and got some "protocol error".
The only way I found to recover these shared folders would be:
1. deleting all snapshots
2. shutdown the guest and then start it again (restart doesn't work somehow)
Essentially, I couldn't take nested snapshots or my shared folders are gone after restoring the guest. Unfortunately, I do need these intermediate states available. Is there any trick to workaround this thing?
