V2P converting image to physical using Clonzilla

I am planing to convert Ubuntu vdi image that I have at my Virutal Box at Windows host to put to other physical drive and use at other computer.
I made img file using:
VBoxManage clonehd file.vdi output.img --format RAW
Is it possible to put output.img to physical disk(partition) using Clonezilla software?
If not, what is preffered and easiest method to this?

I don't see why not, but only the CloneZilla people can tell you for sure. OTOH I'd rather shoot myself in the head than use such a clumsy method. The correct way to use the tool would be to run the imaging step from inside the VM. That way the image file need contain only the used sectors and not be a dumb image of the entire disk.
