Installation fails. hcmon.sys

Hi I am trying to install VirtualBox 5.2.22 on windows 10.

The installation fails. I ran it from the command line to get logging:

Code: Select all

VirtualBox-5.2.22-126460-Win.exe -l

but got no log. At least not where I expected it:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Local\Temp

.

I believe the issue relates to hcmon.sys. But I can so far find no solution,
