[Solved] supR3HardenedWinReSpawn Error

Post by lpdourado.tru »

Hi,

I have one computer that recently starts to show this error when I start any VM:

Please try reinstalling VirtualBox.

where: supR3HardenedWinReSpawn what: 1
VERR_SUP_VP_THREAD_NOT_ALONE (-5640) - Process
Verification Failure: The process has more than one thread.

I already reinstall the latest version of VirtualBox (5.2.18) and also with older verions, like 4.3 or 5.1.32.
Installed the lastest Windows update and machine drivers, including BIOS.

I tested with another two machines, a fresh installation, and works fine.

Also send the VBoxHardening.log (VirtualBox version 5.1.32) if any one can help.

Thank you.

The hardening log shows some references to QIPCAP64.dll which is part of Forcepoint/Triton Endpoint DLP or something similar and has been known to cause problems in the past.

I would start by uninstalling that.
