While the guest OS was installing updates, the VM crashed (the window disappeared), a dialog popped up for a second but then disappeared too (so I don't know what it said).
Host: Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit, 16 GB RAM
Guest : Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1 64 bit , 2 GB RAM
vbox version: 5.2.18
tools: installed (version 5.2.18)
log attached (it seems there was some exception)

Well, it happened during windows update, so we'll have to wait at least one week for next updates.
Otherwise with a regular reboot of the guest no problems happen.
