Hello
if I start a machine that I got from a friend for testing, the Win7 32bit always reset while loading.
On the screen is the "Windows is loading Files" and when the bar is at 100% the machine resets and starts new with windows startup.
Any hints for that? I disabled 2D and 3D but nothing helped.

Did you get the whole VM, or just the VDI and you built a recipe around that VDI?Credofire wrote:if I start a machine that I got from a friend for testing
That sounds like a guest problem, so I'm not sure what a VBox.log would show, but in any event it would be good to look at one:Credofire wrote:the machine resets and starts new with windows startup.
- Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe error / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
- With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
- Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.
