Windows XP lost session after power failure.

Post by Baban443 »

Hello Forum!

This is the situation I am stuck in. We have a Windows 10 Machine running a Windows XP virtual machine with very important information. We do have Easeus to do backup do a daily backup but since we had a power failure the session was not saved. I tried restoring the file but its like when i first deployed the machine about a year ago. I tried restoring the hard drive back to a previous day and the machine will now not boot.
I had to reinstall windows 10 and reload the virtual machine but looking at the back would there be a chance to load the instance that was running a day or two before the power outage?

Thanks
SM

I would like to see the "recipe" of the VM, the ".vbox" file:
  1. Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager. Select "Show in Explorer".
  2. ZIP the selected ".vbox" file and attach it to your response.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
