Dell vostro 2520 with Windows 7 professional 64 bit.
Installed virtual box 5.2. But virtual box not listing x64 bit os options while creating new virtual machine. only shows windows x32 bit os.
Checked with BIOS and in vostro 2520 only one option for virtualization is available and is enabled.
Earlier tried with Windows Virtual PC so installed windows virtualization manager and from turn on windows features on off > remote server administration tools > unchecked hyper-v tools. Uninstalled Windows Update for virtual PC and did system reboot.
Still the issue remain and only x32 os options are shown.
Further if continue with guest installation, prompts the error 'Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files available....'

Re: Virtual Box donot how 64bit os option while creating new machine
Please go thoroughly through the FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests.
