Virtual Machine inaccessible after moving snapshot folder.

Post by kenhero »

I tried to move the entire VirtuaBox VMs folder to another HDD because C: is full and snapshots are really big.
Then i made some search on Google on how to move snapshot folder,they said to edit virtualbox.xml file with new path where i move VirtualBox folder ,reboot,change setting with new path of snapshot folder of my kali linux OS and reboot again but it doesn't work
Runtime error opening 'E:\Ethical Hacking\Virtual\VirtualBox VMs\Kali-Linux-2018.2-vbox-amd64\Snapshots' for reading: -38 (Access denied.).
F:\tinderbox\win-5.2\src\VBox\Main\src-server\MachineImpl.cpp[741] (long __cdecl Machine::i_registeredInit(void)).
Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: MachineWrap
Interface: IMachine {85cd948e-a71f-4289-281e-0ca7ad48cd89}
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance
