Re: SAS University Edition
Did you select the appropriate 64-bit template for whatever "SAS University Edition" might be? It's not an OS that I recognize.
If you don't see a 64-bit edition of the available OSes, go thoroughly through the FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests. Those are guidelines, you have to use your judgement...

Re: SAS University Edition
SAS University Edition is not an OS. It is student software. According to the summary I read it uses virtualization, so it is probably not going to run in a VirtualBox vm.

Re: SAS University Edition
Yes it is. It's an OVA that you can import. See https://support.sas.com/software/produc ... ualbox.htmBillG wrote:SAS University Edition is not an OS.
From the looks of it, it's a RedHat based OS, see the top-left icon in https://support.sas.com/software/produc ... ualbox.htm

Re: SAS University Edition
SAS seems to be a cloud app, "all you need is a browser and an internet connection". So I guess that the VM is just some random Linux distro with Chrome or Firefox installed.
Anyway the error message seems to be quite straightforward: attempting to install 64bit edition of Linux into a 32bit VM.
