Network Access via Host WiFi
Network Access via Host WiFi
To support an old but still needed scoring program, I am running a Windows XP SP3 VM on a Windows 10 64-bit desktop with on board Wi-Fi. The old 16-bit app running the XP VM needs access to a printer. The available printers are Wi-Fi enabled and not close to the host machine. Looking for suggestions on how to connect the XP VM to the host Wi-Fi network.

Re: Network Access via Host WiFi
Use Bridged mode.
VM Settings » Network » Adapter 1 » Attached to: Bridged » and for the "Name" select your host's WiFi adapter.
NOTE: WiFi and Bridged don't always play nice. It might work, it might not work. It it doesn't (you don't get an IP), try with a wired interface, or with NAT.
