Dear Sir / Madam,
When I opened a DDM appliance, an error pop-up window come out:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine DDM Appliance 1.0.2.7_linux_x64_01P.
VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).
Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ConsoleWrap
Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
May I know how to solve this problem? Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Bill

Re: Failed to open virtual machine
The VT-x virtualisation support is disabled in the BIOS. You need to find the appropriate BIOS setting to enable it - your hardware user manual should help you!chubillclub wrote:VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).
The one caveat is that if you have old hardware it may not support VT-x (or the AMD equivalent) but we can't comment on that without seeing the VBox.log file for the guest.
